Tropical Fruit Protein Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I like the Vega brand)
- 2 cups frozen fruit- mix of strawberry, pineapple, and peach (I use Wellsley Farms organic mixed fruit): Ratio of strawberries to pineapple & peach should be around 3:1.
- 1 scoop Vital Proteins collagen peptides (optional)
- 2 tsp cacao nibs
- 1 tsp goji berries
- 2 brazil nuts
Directions:
- Add almond milk, protein powder, collagen, fruit, and 1 tsp cacao nibs to high speed blender
- Blend to desired consistency-- use less almond milk for a thicker, ice-cream like consistency and use more almond milk if you prefer to drink this as a shake
- Top with remaining cacao nibs, goji berries, and chopped brazil nuts
